Following on from their eponymous 2019 album, Heavy Water return with more of those otherworldly tunes you've come to expect from the Vanderbilt camp.
'Soul's Urchin' resounds with squelchy underwater textures and echoey harpsichords, underpinned by weighty beats and topped with plaintive voices like stranded Merfolk yearning for release.
'2nd voice' is an another expedition into those irregular time structures so beloved by Julius and his friends. An angular, ponderous and finally uplifting journey driven by a single insistent synth riff, peppered with breaks and climaxes. Irresistible.
