In this compelling collection of theme tunes, sound effects, programme cues and atmospheres, Julius Vanderbilt conjures up shimmering spacescapes, horror pastiches and cold-war spy dramas. Influenced by everything from our Doctor Who sci-fi heritage to Italian B-movie soundtracks, these 18 nuggets abound with laboratory electronics, fuzz guitars, earthy woodwinds, harpsichords and wobbly reverbs.

Absolutely nailed the library vibe. I love that it’s dripping with 70s noir cool – Danger in Movement’ in particular ....... paired with some playful and even some almost sitcom moments – ‘The Insiders’ - and also fabulous Paddy Kingsland style Radiophonic psychedelia - ‘Outer Space Mission’ & ‘Fright Pattern’ – is just perfect for my ears.
